Day 1- Transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi gorilla forest National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla Park
From your Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, OR on arrival at Entebbe International Airport with an early morning flight, our Guide/ Driver will meet you and drive you to either Bwindi Impenetrable Forest or Mgahinga Gorilla Park with a stopover at the Equator for photo taking and a water experiment, continue to Mbarara where you will have your lunch. Later continue with your drive to Bwindi forest or Mgahinga park where you will Trek the gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Kiho Lodge/ Gorilla Height Lodge/Buhoma lodge/Bwindi lodge/Gorilla safari lodge/Mt. Gahinga Lodge (luxury), Traveller’s rest Kisoro/Bakiga Lodge/Rushaga Gorilla camp/Mucha lodge/ Buhoma Heaven lodge (Mid-range), Rushaga Gorilla Camp – budget rooms/ Ruhija Camp/Bwindi view /Buhoma the Community Banda’s/ Virunga Hotel Kisoro (budget accommodation)
Day 2- Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi forest and waterfall hike
Have an early morning breakfast and get ready for the trekking exercise which is the highlight of this Tour that begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours but it is well worth the effort.
In the late afternoon go for a waterfall hike if the weather and time permits. Dinner and overnight at Kiho Lodge/ Gorilla Height Lodge/Buhoma lodge/Bwindi lodge/Gorilla safari lodge/Mt. Gahinga Lodge (luxury), Traveller’s rest Kisoro/Bakiga Lodge/Rushaga Gorilla camp/Mucha lodge/ Buhoma Heaven lodge (Mid-range), Rushaga Gorilla Camp – budget rooms/ Ruhija Camp/Bwindi view /Buhoma the Community Banda’s/ Virunga Hotel Kisoro (budget accommodation)
Day 3-
Transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe for your departure or drop off at a venue of the client’s interest by either road
