Day One: Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s Best Kept Secret! Tarangire is located slightly of the main safari route which makes it a lesser known attraction. Because Tarangire is overshadowed by the main parks it has a fraction of visitors but immense concentrations of game in the peak months between July to October, which for us will be just superb! After a hearty breakfast we drive to Tarangire National Park. A lunch pack will be provided and we spend the rest of the day in the park. Tarangire is one of the best parks for spotting elephants on the northern circuit. Tarangire is also famous for its myriad of birdlife, large numbers of wildebeests and zebra,Lions, Cheetah, Leopard! and Tarangire is home to many groups of Impalas. Dinner and overnight at Overnight at Panorama African Igloos. Real life experience.
Day Two : Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater is The World’s Largest Caldera! The Ngorongoro Crater is a large volcanic caldera and a UNESCO world heritage site. Driving down into the crater is an experience in itself, with the amazing variety of animals whom reside here Ngorongoro is surely one of the world’s natural wonders. After breakfast we will descend into the crater with a picnic lunch, today will be a full day exploring within the bounds of the crater. When we stop for lunch we will be able to walk around by the lake, the lake is at time home to many hippos (from a distance!) Picnics are individual lunch boxes which normally include chicken, samosa, bread ,water, juice, cookie or chocolates and fruit, if you have special requirements, these need to be requested prior to arriving. Tonights overnight will be at Mto Wa Mbu Village.
Day Three: Tribes and Cultural Experience
Leaving the tarmac behind we ride ( Cycling) through the small villages and plantations and learn a lot about the Local People especially on this unique village of Mto wa Mbu, but also you will explore varieties of delicious Local Lunch. After lunch you will cycle back to your overnight destination and shower/Relax, and in the late afternoon you will drive to the Maasai Village to learn more about this unique tribe that still live their traditional life. Overnight at Mto wa mbu village.
Day Four : Mto wa mbu to Arusha or Airport
Today you will have the breakfast at your lodge and drive to Arusha and this will be the end of the program.
