Welcome to Daystar Adventure Safaris – Booking Terms & Guest Info

We’re thrilled to have you join us for an unforgettable adventure! Below are the important details to help you understand how we handle bookings, payments, cancellations, and more.

✅ 1. Booking Confirmation

Your journey with Daystar Adventure Safaris begins as soon as we receive a 30% deposit of your total trip cost.

• The balance (70%) is due at least 30 days before your safari begins.
• If you’re booking within 30 days of your departure, full payment is required right away.

❌ 2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, please let us know in writing. Our cancellation fees are as follows:

• 60+ days before trip: 10%  – fee will be charged.
• 30–59 days before: 30%  – fee will be charged.
• 15–29 days before: 50% – fee will be charged.
• 14 days or less: 90% – fee (most arrangements have already been paid to our partners)

• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of your written cancellation.

3. Itinerary Adjustments

While we do our best to stick to your planned schedule, sometimes nature or local regulations might require changes.

• If this happens, we’ll inform you of any extra costs in advance.

 

4. Travel Insurance

All guests are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

• Cancellations
• Medical emergencies
• Lost or damaged personal belongings

5. Passports & Visas

• Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.
• You’re responsible for obtaining any necessary visas before your trip.

 

6. Health Tips

• A Yellow Fever vaccination may be required depending on your previous travel destinations.
• Anti-malaria medication is highly recommended — speak to your doctor before departure.

7. Liability

At Daystar Adventure Safaris, your safety is our priority. However, we cannot be held responsible for incidents beyond our control — including weather delays, natural disasters, or issues with third-party providers.

• Participation in all activities is at your own risk.

 

8. Wildlife Sightings

Wildlife is, well, wild! While we’ll do our best, sightings are never guaranteed.

• Always follow your guide’s safety instructions for a safe and respectful experience.

Got dietary needs or special requests? Let us know when booking so we can make the necessary arrangements in advance.

10. Traveling with Children

• Kids under 12 may qualify for special discounted rates.
• Parents/guardians are fully responsible for the safety and supervision of their children during the safari.

11. Payment Options

You can pay securely via:

• Bank transfer
• Credit card
• Master card
• Mobile Money app like, Remitly, worldremit,wise,nala,pesapal,paypal. etc.

Note: Any bank fees or transaction charges are the guest’s responsibility.
